SCOTT’S BARBERSHOP is advertising to open on Monday 9th June 2014.
The new shop is going to focus on ‘patterns and modern haircuts’ according to barber Scott Gleadow.
Scott’s is located at 6 Souttergate next to the King’s Head pub (the site of the former Delia-Lightfuls which closed at the end of last year).
an INDIAN RESTAURANT is ‘opening soon’ at the Alison Hall building as indicated by the banner hanging from the establishment.

Other business news snippets:
- There is still no information regarding the nature of the business set to move into the ex-angling shop on George Street.
- The expected May opening of Hedon Fitness and Nutrition on New Road didn’t take place, but we hope to hear from Manager Rob Barr soon about progress.
- While Scott might be looking forward to the opening of his new Barber Shop, established hairdressers Style Finders in Market Place will be celebrating their 30th Anniversary in business on Wednesday 4th June this week!
- Work is taking place to refurbish the old Heron store with the eventual aim of combining the two premises into one giant Heron Foods store.

Scott’s barbershop is looking fantastic, I love the way they’re doing something modern and fresh but with a nod to Hedon’s heritage. He has worked really hard and deserves to do well!
Great to see Hedon continues to grow in the right way With businesses giving the residents what they need and want
