Hair Lounge – Jade Dean, Gemma  Sumpton, Jeanne Leeman

OPENING for business this week was the Hair Lounge at number 3 George Street, Hedon. Serving clients and customers will be hairdressers and company directors Jade Dean, Gemma Sumpton  and Jeanne Leeman.

Current prices at Hair Lounge list £29.95 for a cut & style, and £27.00 for a perm. With 10% off offer for senior citizens (Mon – Thurs) and through providing some services for gents as well, it looks like the Hair Lounge will add to the range of competitive Hairdressing offers available in the town. The Hair Lounge will be the latest and sixth hairdressing shop in Hedon (in addition there are also two barber shops).

Yorkshire Mobility is openAlso opening this week was Yorkshire Mobility on New Road offering a range of mobility scooters, specialist equipment and other accessories for people with special mobility needs.

In other news, we have been told that Rush Lyvars popular fishing lake is open under new management and have implemented a programme of work over the winter to improve the site even further.

Rob Moulton-Smith has contacted us to scotch rumours circulating that Paul’s Bodyshop and Tyres might be up for sale. On the contrary, Rob has this to say about the Thorn Road based motor trade business and garage: “Paul’s Bodyshop and Paul’s Tyres has been serving the local community for nearly 25 years and we will continue to do so, we are not up for sale!”
