BEAUTIES is Hedon’s newest business and the two beauty therapists behind the enterprise are Emma Dayes (33) and Rosie Hunt (18).
As an example of the entrepreneurial spirit needed to succeed Emma and Rosie have set up their business in only two weeks! Their three-roomed salon only became available recently, and they seized the opportunity, moved in, decorated, and then opened to the public a week later!
Emma and Rosie are experienced therapists and practitioners in the beauty trade, although they only met three months ago whilst working at the same salon in Patrington. But the partnership works well for both girls, between them they are able to open the Salon on five days in the week. This suits Emma perfectly; she’s a busy mum and can organise her workload around the children.
Rosie is really excited about setting up in business, and is particularly pleased about the impressive list of treatments on offer at Beauties; including waxing, ‘lash extensions, manicure, pedicure, facials and a whole range of nail treatments.
In its first week of business Beauties attracted lots of visitors curious to see what was on offer, many of them finding out about the business through its Facebook Page, which in only a week of business has already built up over 180 ‘likes’.
