HEDON COUNCILLORS were so impressed with the work of the Humberside Police Lifestyle Teams in the town last year (2012), that they invited all of them to the Town Hall to receive special Certificates of Merit in recognition of their achievements.

Pictured are members of the ‘Helpful Hands’ and ‘Speed Busters’ teams receiving their certificates from Hedon Mayor Councillor Jim Lindop and Mayoress Sue Lindop.

Also pictured are Christian Staniforth and Ben Wharton representing team ‘Ultras’. Last year Judges were so impressed with their work, that although not winning, the entire team received the award of a prize of a trip to France.

Other teams not able to make the presentation ceremony and buffet, were ‘Four Girls on a Mission’, ‘5 Stars and a Wish’ and the ‘Famous Five’.
