Army Cadets donationHEDON MAYOR Councillor Jim Lindop and Mayoress Sue Lindop have been popping-up at a range of events around the town to surprise groups with cheques representing monies donated.

The latest was on Civic Sunday when the Mayoral duo awarded the Humberside and South Yorkshire Army Cadets a cheque for £100.

This donation added to others already made to:

Previous donations this year were:

  • Cancer research UK – £200
  • Bowel Cancer UK – £200

This represents a total of £1,500 donated to good causes.

The Mayor and Mayoress raised the money from a range of activities held throughout the year.
