THE LATEST exhibition from Hedon Museum promises a trip down memory lane as visitors experience what a trip to the seaside used to be like.
In days when booking a holiday abroad seems to be more the norm, people tend to forget the great times they used to have when a simple trip to the seaside – perhaps at ‘With’ or ‘Brid’ – used to be the mainstay of our summer holiday outings.
But the seaside is not just about holidays as the exhibition will demonstrate! Children and adults are invited to come in and draw memories of the beach on a special wall! On show are original paintings, photographs, fossils and artefacts of the seaside. Plus there are sound effects to accompany the displays!
The Museum is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays between 10am and 4pm. The current exhibition runs until Wednesday 4th July 2012.
