The Hedon Blog hopes to produce a flyer that can be circulated to homes in Hedon, Preston and Paull. The estimate for printing and circulation is £335. Not a lot, if you have got it – but a vast amount for a skint blogger!
A bit of publicity across the town and local villages – the flyer, posters and business cards – will help raise the profile of the Hedon Blog and bring in lots of new readers, commentators, news and items. It will mean that notices of events and local stories will be seen by an even bigger local audience!
Now, in these tough times I’m not just asking for you to donate – but to get something back for it as well!
Therefore, the Hedon Blogger is offering to do TEN GOOD DEEDS and ask for a donation of £33.50 for each.
Now as much as I would like to dig over your gardens, change your light bulbs and do your shopping for a week – I was actually hoping to offer services around the use of social media to groups that operate in the HU12 post code area:
- Are you an organisation – perhaps a voluntary or community group – that would like a website or blog setting up – and perhaps a bit of coaching in managing it;
- Would you like to get going in Facebook, Twitter, YouTube or Flickr and want a hand;
- What about help with making FREE phone calls over the internet using your own computer;
- Would you like a presentation to your group or meeting on using the internet; running a hyperlocal news website like this one, or demystifying the internet and social media?
