Pete’s Pushbike Adventure will benefit Paull Village Hall

8:45 am

AN INTREPID MEMBER of the Paull Village Hall Committee will be joining three other colleagues to cycle 200 miles to help raise money for the Village Hall Building Fund and Cancer Research.

The Paull Village Hall website reports that Pete Allan from the Village Hall Committee will be attempting to complete the Way of the Roses cycle ride, between Morecambe and Bridlington – and then an additional leg back to Paull – in July this year.

Pete apparently does the pushbike ride every year for charity, but this year because of the ambitious plans to build a new Village Hall in Paull, he will be raising money for that good cause also.

The Way of the Roses is the longest of England’s coast-to-coast, long-distance cycle routes and is based on minor roads, disused railway lines and specially constructed cycle paths. It lies entirely within the counties of Lancashire and Yorkshire, crossing the Yorkshire Dales.

Good luck, Pete!
