THE ERY LINk (East Riding of Yorkshire Local Involvement Network) seeks to involve communities and organisations in influencing health and social care in the area.

The organisation has special legal powers granted by Parliament to help it carry out its work including one which allows trained members to enter and view premises where public funded care takes place and report back to regulatory authorities.

The influential community body now has 7 vacancies on its Lead Group. The Lead Group identifies the work plan that ERY LINk carries out through consulting with its members and aims to make certain that ERY LINk is representative of and accountable to local communities.

ERY LINk is seeking nominations from within its membership to fill the vacancies in its lead group. These nominations have to be received by Friday 14th May 2010. It currently has no Lead Members who live in Hedon.
