WHERE DO YOU VOTE in the Election on THURSDAY, 6th MAY 2010?

Your polling station will be stated on your polling card. On the top right corner of your polling card you will find a number that begins with the letters VA, VB, VC, VD or VE. This determines where your polling station is:

Polling Stations in Hedon, Preston and Paul are as follows:

VA 1 – 1589 will vote at Polling Station 1 at the Alexandra Hall, 28 St Augustines Gate, Hedon
VA 1590 – 3145 will vote at Polling Station 2 at the Alexandra Hall, 28 St Augustines Gate, Hedon
VB 1 – 1275 will vote at Polling Station 1 at the Alexandra Hall, 28 St Augustines Gate, Hedon
VB 1276 – 2552 will vote at Polling Station 2 at the Alexandra Hall, 28 St Augustines Gate, Hedon
VC 1 – 595 will vote at the Village Hall, Main Street, Paull
VD 1 – 1872 will vote at All Saints Church Hall, Preston
VE 1 – 778 will vote at a special Mobile Unit in the Car Park at the Kingstown Hotel, Hedon (Preston South).

You do not need your polling card to vote but it is obviously helpful if you take it with you. See the reverse of your polling card for details of how to cast your vote.
