ELECTION 2010: THE CANDIDATES in the Beverley and Holderness constituency have begun campaigning for the General Election. The following snippets have all been taken from each candidate’s website/blog:

UKIP have announced that their candidate is Andy Horsfield. His party webpage has three issues listed that you can rate ‘thumbs-up’ or ‘thumbs-down’

Bill Rigby comments on the Green Party launch in Beverley on his blog.

Labour’s Ian Saunders attention today was undoubtedly on the launch of the party’s  national manifesto but his local party website highlights the hustings at Beverley Minister.

Conservative Graham Stuart’s website leads with news of his interview on Humber TV.

Craig Dobson’s Liberal Democrat website is the only one not to have been updated since the calling of the General Election.

Other potential candidates have until 4pm Tuesday 20th April 2010 to declare their nominations.
