Denise Hardy is retiring as manager of Thorngumbald Pre-School. Denise has been involved with the Pre-School for 35 years since her son started there. Denise said, “I never expected a career in childcare, but there you go – it’s gone in a blink”.
Denise said she is looking forward to enjoying time with her family as well as gardening, cycling, holidays and looking after her first grandchild Rueben.
Staff and parents of Thorngumbald Pre-School would like to wish Denise a very happy retirement and thank her for her hard work and commitment over the years.
Emma Brown who has worked at the Preschool for the last 7 years will take over the role of Manager from September.
Thorngumbald Pre-School provides funded early year’s education for 2, 3 and 4-year-olds and has places available.
