HEDON SCOUTS are seeking to recruit new leaders, assistant leaders and helpers for all sections. Banners erected at entry points into the town aim to attract attention and appeal to would-be volunteers.
Andy Braim from Hedon Scouts said: “We have placed our banners out ready for our latest adult support drive. Please get in touch to find out about Hedon scout group’s leadership team. We are as flexible as you and any volunteering time you can offer is greatly appreciated!”

Scouting is an affordable way of providing a range of exciting and adventurous activities for children and young people. They provide activities described as “an incredible mix of fun, friendship, adventure and with powerful Scouting values. To keep on providing these activities requires enthusiastic volunteers.
Those volunteering their time can opt to spend as much or as little time in a week supporting the group. Volunteers will receive training, help and support. Considering that the Chief Scout is survival expert Bear Grylls, the advice to potential leaders is: “You don’t need to be Bear Grylls to volunteer!”
