Thorngumbald: Theft from Vehicle

Sometime between 11.15pm and 11.30pm on the evening of Friday 9th April 2021 several items were stolen from a works vehicle parked overnight on Thornfields, Thorngumbald. The stolen items include the victim’s wallet containing cash, two work laptops, an iPad and the victim’s doorbell CCTV camera from the front of their property.

The occupants were alerted to a doorbell camera activation around 11.15pm and found it to be not working and noticed that the vehicle had been entered.

A dog walker located the laptop and iPad discarded at a field entrance on A1033 Hedon bypass this morning (14 April). These items have been returned to the owner.
