March and Rally against the Yorkshire Energy Park – Saturday 20th July 2019 at 11.00am.
Ward Councillor for South West Holderness, Councillor John Dennis writes:
“Don’t let East Riding towns and villages be swamped by Hull’s industry.
“The March is starting from the old Centrica Car Park to the rear of the Petrol Station, near Sainsbury’s, Preston South at 11.00 am. Please get there, if you’re intent on marching, at around 10.30 to 10.45am. Banners flags and fancy dress costumes are encouraged. Also, plenty of parking available.
“If you’re not marching, but want to attend the Rally, it’s to be held on Far Bank, Hedon, at the end of Drapers Lane. That’s the grassy area opposite Ketwell Lane, near the traffic lights. Get there for 11.00 am. Parking no problem.”
Has anyone else realised that this clashes with the Pride Hull parade? Might affect the turn-out.
