The Hedon Open Gardens and Scarecrow Walk for 2018 takes place over the weekend of June 23 and 24.

Nine gardens in the town will be open for the public to visit and enjoy, some small, some large, but all beautifully cared for.

It is the town’s residential homes which are taking part in displaying scarecrows this year with many getting prepared to greet visitors.

Magdalen Park Nursing Home on Magdalen Lane is welcoming everyone to visit over the weekend from 10am – 4pm each day to see what the residents, staff and volunteers have been working on. A raffle, tombola and refreshments will be available.

Enquiries about the event: Hedon Town Council, St. Augustine’s Gate, Hedon, East Yorkshire. HU12 8EX 01482-898428. Office Opening Hours: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 9.00am till 3.00pm.
