Exhibition Manager Julie Marshall sorts out another display (August 2014)
IT was the Annual Meeting of Hedon Museum Society last night and it was marked by the ‘retirement’ of Julie Marshall as its ‘interim’ Exhibitions Manager… after 16 years, as Katy Miller explains:

“Hedon Museum owes a massive thank you to Julie Marshall, who took a ‘temporary’ position as Exhibitions Manager 16 years ago, and has decided it is time to move onto other things.
“Julie has been responsible for some fantastic exhibitions over the years, and she’s also done wonderful work as Press Officer.
“We’re very grateful that she’ll continue to volunteer too!”
One of those ‘other things’ that Julie is making time for is her painting. An exhibition at the Museum in October will feature paintings by Julie as well as ceramics by Rachel Ehlert (Wed 12th October – Sat 12th November).
If you’re interested in volunteering for Hedon Museum, pop in on a Wednesday or a Saturday between 10am and 4pm, and ask the volunteer on duty.
