AN E-FORM has been designed by Humberside Police which they say will help you register your bike for free onto www.immobilise.com which is a police-endorsed national property recording system.
According to the police, you need to write down the details from your bike including make, model and frame number, download and fill in the PDF e-form and then click on the Register it today box. This will then automatically e-mail the completed form through to the police at firstname.lastname@example.org
In 10 to 14 days you will receive an e-mail, direct from Immobilise confirming you have opened a FREE property registering account and at the same time they will encourage you to add all your other identifiable property.
If any item of your registered property gets stolen, you mark it as such on immobilise.com and that information becomes available to all UK police Forces and registered second-hand dealers. This greatly increases your chance of getting any lost or stolen property back.
You can find out more about the e-form via this page on the Humberside Police website.
Let us know on the Hedon Blog if you have found the e-form and the Immobilise service useful and would recommend it to other residents.
