In September East Riding Council installed a new sign inviting brides down Love Lane!
But alas, this current photo shows the mistake has been rectified.
I think I know which version I preferred.
What about the other sign? Since when was Hull on the Way to Withernsea?
I think that’s wonderful. I hope whoever wrote the original is promoted way up the ladder of county hall genius! There aren’t too many things to smile about these days so well done anon.
That is one mistake which should have been left well alone – it makes people smile and that can only be a good thing !
