Both of the senior teams tumbled to defeats, as Humbleton CC cruised home by six wickets, with seven of their 40 overs unused, mainly due to an attractive unbeaten 84 from Scott Harrison, whilst brother Joe lent support with a solid 36, in their winning 165 for 4 reply, against Lewis Duell with 2 for 36. Dan Martinson added 31 useful runs also, in the visitors success.

Earlier, Holderness first team totalled 164 for 8 in their allotted 40 overs, captain Rich Ingram again leading the way with his good-looking 68, to take his seasonal aggregate to 685, supported by Duell with 35 and Conn Brattan’s 25 not out. For the visitors, the father and son combination of Andy Johnson (2 for 32), and teenager Rob taking 3 for 43, did the damage in their welcome victory, to obtain revenge for their earlier reverse. Drapers Ltd of Hull, Metal Merchants, Sponsored the Match Ball.
