A POWER CUT is expected tonight in Hedon central area.
Alison Hall Restaurant & Bar put a notice their Facebook Page letting others know, that they had been informed of a power cut in Hedon tonight affecting the power for the restaurant. They have been contacting customers to let them know of their closure tonight.
And indeed essential electricity works are taking place on St Augustine’s Gate. It seems that five post code areas have been affected:
- HU12 8EX
- HU12 8JA
- HU12 8JH
- HU12 8JJ
The Northern Powergrid website says that a fault was reported this morning at 6:30am. Power has been restored to some of those affected but work continues to restore supplies to the remaining customers. They say that they hope to restore Power by 6pm but as reported earlier, Alison Hall have been warned of power cuts tonight.
