HEDON MAYOR and Mayoress Jim and Sue Lindop attended a special tea/coffee morning ‘pop-in’ at the Alexandra Hall on Wednesday 16th January 2013: It was the pop-in club’s 20th Anniversary!
The club has been meeting on Wednesdays at the Hall from 10am – 12 noon since 1993. Mayor Jim Lindop said that it was a particularly poignant occasion for him because his mother had been one of those who started the pop-in group in 1993.
Congratulations to all those that help out and attend on a Wednesday morning!
The pop-in charges 50p entry per person. Entry fees are regularly donated to charity.
