Thanks have been passed to Vivergo Fuels who kindly covered the cost for the Reindeer and their helpers to attend the Christmas Lights Turn on 30th November. The evening was very well attended and a great success.

The Council are considering allowing the Town Hall to become a Wedding venue; a small working party was set up to formulate arrangements when the Town Hall is booked for weddings, however the licence will only be applied for when the refurbishment of the toilets shared between the Town Hall and Alexandra Hall is underway and nearing completion.

The council have received an offer of a gift to take over the ownership of Elsie Gate field down Ivy Lane. Legal questions are progressing hopefully for a final decision in Jan 2013.
