Over £1,000 raised at Charity Day – and a little bit of pain!

9:59 am

A TEAM OF LIFESTYLERS from Inman’s School raised over £1,000 at a fun day in The Station garden yesterday (2nd September 2012).

Chris: “Ow!”

As well as a bouncy castle and fund-raising stalls, local Dad Chris, and Station Landlord Carl had their legs waxed! The brave pair raised several hundred pounds between them by agreeing to the ordeal – Carl was actually ‘volunteered’ by his staff members!

Jackie from the pub said: “To all the lovely generous people who came to The Station, Hedon for the Lifestyle event – Thank You so very much! The lovely young girls raised over £1,000 pounds in The Station garden – A big congratulations – I am sure Mums and Dads will be very proud!”

The Make a Wish Foundation and the Dove House Hospice were the charities destined to benefit from the efforts of the all-girl team.

Carl: “Will it hurt!?”
