ANOTHER EXCELLENT EXHIBITION ends at the Hedon Museum today. Do see it if you can!

From Racing to Flying has been running since July and ends its run today (Saturday 18th August 2012). Of particular interest to the Hedon Blogger was to find a picture of “Bunty” – so-called because of its registration number G-ABNT – which was taken when the aeroplane visited Ottringham in 2003. You can find a little more about Bunty on HU12 Online: Historic Hedon Airplane Bunty.

And do get a cup of tea whilst visiting the Museum – the cups are likely to be vintage World War II mugs that were recently re-discovered in pristine condition at the old Paull Village Hall!

Next Wednesday sees the return of the miniature homes and furniture exhibition staged by the Hull-based Fantasia Dolls House Club miniature society. They usually put on a marvellous display revealing the passion, patience and skill that goes into creating the miniature rooms, houses, streets and scenes. A visit with your family is highly recommended!

The Hedon Museum is open Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10am – 4pm.
