THE STATION PUB which has recently undergone a ‘makeover’ has now turned its attention to food, offering “traditional pub grub” on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday lunch.

Light lunches are on offer from 12 – 2:30pm and a ‘ Tea Time Special’ from 5pm – 7pm is available for £5.

The ‘eating-out’ experience in Hedon, whether for a snack or a main meal, has something to offer for local residents and visitors alike.

In addition to The Station, the following all offer food in Hedon, in a style that is characteristic of the particular premises:

The Haven Arms on Havenside  has its own restaurant and unique menu offering (watch for the website coming soon at www.havenarms.co.uk).

The Kingstown Hotel on Hull Road is a Punch Tavern and offers a Two for £10 meal offer.

The Shakespeare Inn on Baxtergate traditionally offered pub food. It has changed hands recently but the assumption is that food is still on offer.

Alison Hall is the newest of two restaurants in St Augustine’s Gate, Hedon with Kolize Pizzeria being the second.

There is also Nutmegs in the Market Place which is very popular with locals and visitors.

Whatever you fancy to eat – you can find it in Hedon!
