THE HEDON WISH LIST has already generated some interesting ideas. But one suggestion submitted deserves an early mention:
An annual New Years celebration on Market Hill for the families of Hedon. The beacon could be lit.”
This is a simple idea, but one that could become a real event and a focus point for Hedon residents. In many towns and cities, there are natural meeting points where local people and Hogmanay visitors gather to wish each other well and enjoy the countdown to the New Year. So why not in Hedon?

One of the ideas that came out of our ‘Make a Wish for Hedon’ list in 2010. A New Year’s Eve event on Market Hill. Whilst not sure it would be practical, it is still an interesting idea!
