A former Mayor of Hedon, Councillor John Ledger, is to attend a meeting of the East Riding Council Standards Committee to answer complaints that he did not follow correct procedure – and therefore broke the councillors code of conduct – when taking part in a Town Council Property Committee meeting.
The East Riding Standards Committee, which advises Town and Parish Councils on the promotion of high standards for councillors, will be meeting on April 7th to investigate the matter.
