A MARVELLOUS ARTICLE appears in this week’s Holderness Gazette commemorating the Zeppelin raid over Hedon on 22nd August 1917.

Using material from local historian Brian Richardson, including a photo of the bomb-wrecked Primitive Methodist Chapel on Baxtergate, the Gazette article by Gina Hobbs covers the 95th anniversary of the town being bombed.

If you don’t normally get the Gazette – then it’s definitely worth buying this week!
