In portrait photography, whether of humans or animals, the eyes are often considered the most critical focal point. The eyes in a photograph, acting as ‘windows to the soul’, can create an emotional connection between the photographer and viewer. In creative and abstract photography, the eye itself, or an artistic image of an eye, can be a powerful subject!
The eye or eyes can provide the subject of a photograph. Photos of the eye, revealing the biological structure and texture of the iris, are a popular macro study.
However you interpret the challenge, it’s up to you!
