THE HEDON IN PICTURES exhibition at Hedon Museum is a wonderful way to experience the history and charm of the ancient market town.
With pictures in various mediums; paintings, old sketches as well as photographs of Hedon, you very quickly gain a visual appreciation of the place. Also, the small ‘box pictures’ by artist John Parks of well-known buildings in the town are just a delight!

The exhibition features work by artists and photographers who are still living, and those sadly no longer with us. The visual collection brings to life the histories and stories behind some of Hedon’s well-known areas like Souttergate, Sheriff Highway, Market Hill and Hedon Haven.
The Hedon in Pictures exhibition is open at Hedon Museum on Saturdays and Wednesdays from 10 am – 4 pm until October 8 2022. Admission is free and refreshments are available.
When in Hedon on an open day, look out for the notices and boards which guide you to the Museum entrance via Watmough’s Arcade.
