UP to 30 cyclists set off from the Haven Arms this morning to take part in a charity fund-raising bike ride around Holderness. Led by David Freer, the founder of beneficiary charity Nice 2b Nice, the cyclists set off just after 10am this morning:
And of course essential in any such a charity venture is the support on offer to the cyclists. Photos show Alex Watts and Rachel Cliffe in the support vehicle and Alan Newby’s portable bike maintenance unit to ensure all the bikes were in tip-top condition:

Congratulations to 8-year-old Amber Jessop! She completed the child ride to Paull and back (4.4miles) at 10:56am so in just under an hour! Amber, with her dad Dale, is pictured below being congratulated by Nice 2b Nice’s Alex Watts.
The adult riders headed back to Hedon at staggered intervals after holding a refreshments break at The Watts Arms, Ottringham.

The other girl is Emily Harrison aged 10 and she remarkably completed the full 25 mile tour with the adults and never lost her smile all the way round
