Well, here I am! It’s taken me years to get here!
Years of ups and downs.
Standing up, only to fall – a learning clown.

Coping… with feeling small, and occasionally standing tall!…
… until the next obstacle.

Feeling, good, glad, sad and bad…
loving, being loved, independent and together… all on the same day.

Striving to be higher, faster, stronger…
but arriving now… lower, slower… not weaker, but a different kind of strength.

Yes, it’s my birthday at this journey’s end….
And I start it all over again tomorrow!
