CHRISTMAS IS COMING and already panic is setting in about getting presents and Christmas Cards! But at least this year I’m not so worried about the cards – the Hedon Blog has made its own!
There are three cards in the set – the first is a view of St Augustine’s Church tower, framed by snow-capped trees; the second is a jolly picture of a Christmas Tree (it’s actually from Hedon Market Place in 2009); and the third is a different look at Hedon’s Ship emblem.
I’m happy that I’ll be sending my friends and relatives something unique from Hedon for Christmas. AND the cards also contain our website address http://www.hedonblog.co.uk on the reverse – so I’ll be encouraging people to find out a bit more about our town!
The Christmas Cards (PDF files) will also be sent out next week to those friends of the Hedon Blog who subscribe to us on our Daily and Weekly Hedon Blog update service, so you can print them out on card, fold them in half, write your message, and send them out to your friends, relatives and neighbours too.
Do let us know if you like the cards and use them – particularly if you send them to relatives and friends abroad.
