WANT TO BECOME A FIRST AIDER?
Are you interested in becoming a fully qualified Event First Aider with the Hedon British Red Cross Group?
We are a volunteer group who meet at the Red Cross building on Sheriff’s Highway on Monday nights and are looking for new members. As a member of the group you can expect to receive full British Red Cross first aid training and become part of an active and friendly group who provide first aid cover for numerous events throughout the year. You can commit as little or as much time as you feel you are able to.
Some of the first aid events our members have volunteered on, range from covering local sports events and theatre shows, to some of the biggest regional and national events including the Farmyard Party in Helmsley (the biggest and best motorbike rally in Europe) and the Bupa Great North Run.
We will be holding an informal evening where you can find out more about the British Red Cross and becoming an Event First Aider on Monday 7th November 2011 (time to be confirmed but around 6pm).
