ONLY THE BRAVEST CROWS will be flying around Paull today (Bank Holiday Monday 27th August 2012) as the Annual Paull Scarecrow Festival takes place.

You can pick up a map (small cost) on the day from a gazebo on Main Street which shows the number and location of each scarecrow. You can use the map to vote for your favourite. The winning Scarecrows will be announced at 4:30pm and prizes awarded to the top three.

The vibrant village community has helped make the Paull Scarecrow Festival a major local attraction. The Scarecrow Festival is not only a fun way to involve the local community –  it also brings many visitors to the village and provides some fantastic photo opportunities.

Scarecrows on display between 10am – 4pm.

There will also be several other activities in the village e.g. Tombola, a Treasure Hunt round the village, a Balloon Race and Barbecue. At 1.00pm a Fancy Dress competition will be judged on the theme of the ‘Best Olympian’.
