East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s Cabinet has approved, in principle, a proposal to build a new crematorium near to Preston in Holderness and will now go out to public consultation in July to support the development of a business case.
East Riding of Yorkshire Council is seeking Cabinet approval, in principle, to consult and develop a business case to build a crematorium in Holderness. The proposed site of the crematorium is off Lelley Road, near Preston, in Holderness and it is anticipated that a planning application will be submitted later this year.
The Applicant, proposing to build 28 new homes on Wychcroft, Magdalen Lane, Hedon has now lodged an appeal with the Planning Inspectorate against East Riding Council’s refusal to give planning permission.
