Temporary changes to East Yorkshire bus services

From Monday 23 March, in response to the coronavirus pandemic, bus company East Yorkshire will be temporarily changing their timetables. Most services will run to a Sunday timetable, but with extra early morning journeys to allow workers to travel.  Routes which don’t normally have Sunday buses will also have a special timetable.

Enjoy a visit to St. Augustine’s Church, Hedon – and Cream Teas too!

Over the August Bank Holiday weekend (24 – 26 August 2019), St Augustine’s Church will be serving cream teas on Saturday, Sunday and Monday afternoon 2pm-4pm, and there will be organ music 2-3pm each afternoon. Come, visit, explore and enjoy a cream tea too!

Declare ‘Yorkshire Day’ 2018

Yorkshire Day, 1st of August, is the day when the Declarations of Integrity should be read in each of the three Ridings. Traditionally the Declaration should be read in five different dialects including modern English and old Norse, whilst facing towards the county’s ancient capital of York (that’s towards the North West for us in Hedon).
