A PRE-PLANNING application report has been submitted for a 70ha (173acres) development on Havenside, Hedon which would create a solar farm. The proposal, by multinational company Grupotec, would lead to the construction of ground-mounted solar panels spread across six agricultural fields with a total generated energy output of 42MW.
The proposal has been the subject of an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) scoping report commissioned by the developer and submitted to the East Riding of Yorkshire Council.
