Poster text reads: An illustrated talk about this quirky artist who did not restrict his creative output to painting but was also a writer, poet, engraver, sculptor, architect, theatre designer and jewellery designer.

The Arts Society: Holderness meets on the third Thursday morning of each month except August and September in Hornsea Floral Hall to hear illustrated lectures on a variety of arts-based topics.

You do not need to be artistic yourself, just sit and be entertained by expert and informative lecturers sharing their enthusiasm about painting, architecture, music, gardens and many other related subjects.   We are a friendly group, and many members have been coming for a number of years since the Society was founded nearly 40 years ago. Visitors who just want to hear a particular talk on a subject which interests them are also very welcome. Look out for the publicity about each month’s topics.

Visitors are welcome for a suggested donation of £7 entry. Annual membership of the Society is available.
