Hedon Walk of Witness

ALL ARE WELCOME to join in with the annual Hedon Walk of Witness on Good Friday 15 April 2022 at 10.30am.

Walkers will stop at various locations in Hedon to hear a reading of part of a different part of the account of events of Good Friday.

Starting at Saint Mary and Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church in Baxtergate at 10.30am the walkers will make their way quietly along the main roadside pathways to the Methodist Church, then Saint Augustine’s Church and finish in Hedon Market Place.

The Walk of Witness, organised by Hedon and District Churches Together, serves to remind people about the religious story of Easter and gives public witness to Jesus Christ’s journey to the Cross. The silent walkers always strike a powerful image when making their way through the town from church to church.
