CLOCKS go forward to British Summer Time (also known as Daylight Saving Time) on Sunday 27 March 2022 at 1am. At 1am clocks should be turned forward one hour.
Sunrise and sunset will be about 1 hour later on the Monday than the day before. There will be more light in the evening.
The term “spring forward – fall back” is meant to trigger your memory to set your clocks forward one hour in the spring, and one hour back in the ‘fall’ (US term for autumn).
