THE FIRST FILM NIGHT for over 18 months takes place at Preston Community Hall on Friday, 10 September 2021.

Preston Films bring ‘Lease of Life’ to the Community Hall which stars Robert Donat as a vicar who has been given one year to live.

Geoff Catterick from the Community Hall said: “He conceals his imminent death from his wife, but through the fidelity of his performance, Donat creates a decent and dignified character. This was filmed in Beverley and Lund. Our Film Night provides a rare opportunity to see this film.”

Doors open at 7pm with the film starting at 7.30 pm. Admission is £5.00 in aid of Preston Churches. There will be a raffle and refreshments will be available.
