Message from Hedon Community Foodbank:

Hedon Community Food Bank at the Amy Black Community Centre is offering medical-grade facemasks and hospital-grade sanitiser free to all who struggle to afford these items. If buying masks competes with money you have for heating and food, potentially causing you financial hardship, or if you know someone disabled or elderly who would benefit from the items, come to the community centre and collect some during food bank hours.

  • Monday 5pm – 9pm
  • Wed 1pm – 2.30pm
  • Friday 4pm -6pm

It would be helpful, but not essential, that if you don’t require a food parcel but just need personal protection supplies, that you come after 6pm Monday, any time during opening hours Wednesday or 5pm Friday in order to collect masks/sanitiser. This helps avoid the busiest times. If you require a food parcel please come at any time within opening hours and let us know you need facemasks and sanitiser.
