**PLEASE NOTE THE REVISED START TIME & ALSO ADHERE TO THE VENUE’S STRICT SAFETY MEASURES – ENTER BY THE FRONT DOOR NEAR THE BIG TREE, USE THE HAND SANITISER PROVIDED, WEAR A FACE COVERING UNTIL SEATED.**
*Please arrive no later than 7.30pm for a 7.45pm start. You may prefer to bring your own pen & paper but we’ll have some if you don’t!
Our popular quizzes are open to everyone; you don’t have to be an OSC member to attend, and they’re certainly getting very popular. If you wish to book a table, please contact the pub directly on 01482 811087.
Entry is £1 per person (maximum of 6 in a team) – a fun filled night of questions, giggles and fundraising is assured. There are four rounds of questions and you will be treated to a free supper.
The winning team will be awarded a bottle of wine courtesy of the landlord.
The evening ends with ‘Open the Box’ and your chance to win a cash jackpot which has a pre-lockdown balance of £159.00 plus half of the ticket sale money taken on the night. The other half of the ticket sale money gets added to the fundraising pot!
The Quiz Nights are supporting The Angus MacDonald Foundation?
Formed by our former #15, Angus MacDonald who successfully combated the early stages of bowel cancer last year, the Foundation has been set up to raise awareness around cancer diagnosis in young people and to use sport as an activity and a rehabilitation mechanism when people have had treatment, to get them fit and active again.
It aims to replicate Angus’ own journey, and we look forward to promoting The Angus MacDonald Foundation and raising funds for it, and despite Goose leaving City earlier this summer, we’ll continue to support his Foundation until the end of the year.
