Over the August Bank Holiday weekend (24 – 26 August 2019), St Augustine’s Church will be serving cream teas on Saturday, Sunday and Monday afternoon 2pm-4pm, and there will be organ music 2-3pm each afternoon.

St. Augustine’s Church, Hedon is nicknamed the “King of Holderness” which signifies the importance that the ancient building holds amongst people in the town. Whether important as a place of worship, an historical treasure or a base for generating community spirit, the building is one of the most adored in the town and loved by both residents and visitors alike. It certainly is the most photographed building in town!

A campaign is underway to celebrate this unique place and centre of our community which aims to encourage more people to explore the inside of St. Augustine’s. One of the opportunities to visit the church will be over August Bank Holiday Weekend 2019.

Make a date in your diary: Come, visit, explore the church and enjoy a cream tea too!
