“The Guernsey Literary & Potato Peel Pie Society” – Film Night at Preston Community Hall.

At the end of World War 2, a writer thirsts for new adventures after loosing everything in the war. She begins an unexpected correspondence with members of the Society whose passion for fiction kept them going through the Nazi occupation of the Channel Islands. As an idea for a new book catches on, she visits the Island, taking life-changing steps along the way.
