Saturday 3 November 2018 – Bootleg Buddy

“The legend that is Buddy Holly lives on as ‘Bootleg Buddy’ returns again to Preston Community Hall after a really good show last year,” says Geoff Catterick about the musical tribute to the 1950’s pop star. “The show features all the famous hits including ‘Peggy Sue’, ‘That’ll be the Day’, ‘Rave On’ and much more. There will be a bar, raffle. and plenty of room to dance – not to be missed.”

David Remblence is the tribute artist who brings Buddy Holly to life in ‘Bootleg Buddy’.

Buddy Holly, real name Charles Hardin Holley, was an early star of rock & roll music who started out as a country music performer. He was tragically killed in a plane crash in February 1959, along with fellow performers Ritchie Valens and Jiles Perry Richardson known as ‘The Big Bopper’.
