ELECTION candidates for the Parliamentary seat of Beverley & Holderness will be taking part in a hustings in Hedon hosted by Hedon and District Churches Together.
Church of England leaders nationally have challenged politicians to inspire people to vote and combat apathy and cynicism by offering “a fresh moral vision” of the kind of country we want to live in. The local hustings event organised by Churches Together will give a platform for each prospective Member of Parliament to rise to that challenge.
The hustings will take place at St. Augustine’s Church, Church Lane, Hedon at 7:30pm on Thursday 30th April 2015 which is a week before voting takes place on 7th May.
QUESTIONS for the HUSTINGS should be sent by e-mail to ken@kswilson.karoo.co.uk

Fully packed Beverley Minster last night for Hustings as Labour’s Margaret Pinder’s Twitter photo reveals. Will it be a similar turnout in Hedon? Will anything less than a packed St Augustine’s do? https://twitter.com/MargaretPinder/status/593293573560360960/photo/1
If you want to submit questions to all the candidates, email them in advance to ken@kswilson.karoo.co.uk as he is chairing the event.
Thanks for the reminder about Ken Wilson’s address, Steve – adding it to the article.
