Bargain Booze reopening
Red ribbon re-opening

A NEW chilled area was added to Hedon’s Bargain Booze store just before Christmas in a refurbishment that saw the shop close for a week. The Mayor and Mayoress, Councillor John Dennis and Mrs Jennifer Dennis were invited by Phil Dickson the proprietor of Bargain Booze to cut the red ribbon and formally reopen the shop on December 16th 2014 following the refurbishment.

The refurbishment project also involved upgrading and rearranging the interior of the shop in St. Augustine’s Gate to create a much more attractive and customer friendly space. The exterior has also been redecorated in a bright red finish.

The Mayor said: “I’m always delighted to encourage local enterprise, and wish the business the very best for the future.”
